Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, also known as Kabini / Nagarahole National Park – a beautiful wildlife region, located on the banks of glorious River Kabini. It was once served as a popular hunting lodge of Indian Royal Kings and British Viceroys. It is one of the most stunning and the best wildlife sanctuaries in the state of Karnataka. The charming beauty of Kabini is further beautified by calm lakes, variety of birds, large herds of elephants and plenty of wildlife species.
The Kabini forest is a fine blend of moist, tropical and dry and deciduous types of forests. It attracts nature lovers and environmental enthusiasts from far and wide by its rich fauna and flora. Brahmagiri Sanctuary
It is a ever green forest wildlife sanctuary and a natural habitat of several tribes. It is a popular destination of coffee plantations and agricultural fields. It is precious place to get a glimpse of variety of wild animals.
Irpu Waterfalls
It is also known as Lakshmana Tirtha. It is cascading from 60 meters height located in the midst of thriving green forest and majestic Western Ghats. It is also a famous Hindus religious spot where the Irpu waterfalls flows and joins to River Kaveri at another side. The populat Rameshwara temple devoted to Lord Shiva is located on this River banks.
Rameshwara Temple
It is located on the banks of River Lakshman Thirtha. This is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Some legends claims that this is the place where Lord Lakshmana fetched water for his beloved brother Lord Rama. Maha Shivarathri is the famous festival celebrated here.
